LEVEL OF EFFORT

We have divided our trips based on level of effort. Below you can see how we have done the grading.

The grading has only to do with the physical effort. It thus has no reference to how tough a journey can be experienced from the perspective of “Nature” or other more individual perceptions of the level of effort.

Note that some trips can be difficult to grade, for example if a trip should have “higher altitude”. How strenuous a trek or bike ride is experienced varies greatly from person to person. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about whether a trip suits you.

Easy / Calmer

Travel at a leisurely pace without major physical activity

Moderate / Varying

Travel with some physical activity, for example shorter day hikes or easier cycling

Difficult / Active

Travel with physically demanding elements, for example hiking or cycling in hilly terrain

Challenging

Travel that is very physically demanding, for example longer hikes at high altitude
